Shared journeys
For approved shared mobility, drivers offer journeys, passengers request rides, and drivers choose whom to accept. Matching considers routes and detours. My Rides retains accepted journeys, with limited disclosure and no participant payments.
Pickup evidence
Drivers start the ride. Passengers scan its QR code or use the lower-tier online backup. Evidence levels are retained, with fallback transport agreed for the programme.
Commute recording
Commute captures the date, mode, distance and journey details for processing.
Impact and recognition
Impact shows activity, recognition points and comparison with the normal commute. Points remain separate from carbon accounting.
Workplace context
Profile retains workplace connections and commute settings for organisational reporting.

Processed activity enters your Corporate Portal. This illustrative quarterly example spans three countries and one hundred sites.
Inventory emissions
Inventory shows gross commuting emissions within the reporting boundary, calculated from recorded activity and applicable factors.

Backend processing
AWS validates scope and records, resolves ride outcomes, retains evidence, applies the method and prepares reconciled reporting.
Calculation engine
Calculations use distance, emissions factors and relevant occupancy. Country, mode, factor sources, units and versions remain traceable as results aggregate from journeys to sites and organisations.
Evidence quality
A consistent calculation does not verify a journey. Verification and reconciliation answer different questions.
Coverage
Survey response, workforce coverage and journey participation remain distinct. Cohort response rates must not be presented as whole-workforce coverage.
Inventory and comparisons
Scope Three Category Seven inventory and avoided comparisons remain separate. Avoided emissions are not offsets or credits.
Pilot review
After twelve weeks, review what operated, what changed and what remains uncertain. Decide whether to continue, adjust, expand or stop.
